Franz Kafka, “The Trial”
I met Tomislav Đorđević in 1985 when he was a director of Iskra Delta, back then a very sophisticated IT company, while I was working at Ljubljanska Bank – Novi Sad branch, as IT developer.
The cooperation between these two companies in the area of IT was very extensive and correct. The above mentioned bank had the most advanced IT technology of that time. Tomislav was regularly sending his employees for professional training at the Delta center in Nova Gorica (Slovenia).
Our next acquaintance dates to 2000, when I was hired by Yuco Bank (later Meridian Bank), for the IT sector.
The technological advancement, driven by Tomislav Đorđević, was visionary and very intense, both in the hardware and the software areas (on-line branch networking through optical cables, rapid expansion of the network, powerful servers, advanced software solutions, the introduction of domestic payment operations, credit card operations… which won us the image of the first electronic bank).
Our cooperation has been intensive and correct.
