Franz Kafka, “The Trial”
A long time ago, in 1992, I moved to Bački Jarak.
I was then given the opportunity to work by Mr. Tomislav Đorđević, who embraced me and gave me hope for survival in a country which was falling apart.
His very appearance instilled hope. His ability to recognize market opportunities, to make the right decision in the right moment, gave us the opportunity to live decently even in those hard times of the nineties.
For such ideas and such leadership it was not difficult to come to work at midnight, nor to stay as long as it was necessary without any orders or requests.
In those strenuous years of inflation (1993) he was distributing basic food provisions and hygiene products to his employees. He personally helped me financially in the construction of my family home.
Mr. Tomislav Đorđević never behaved unfairly towards his employees and I never felt any differences in his treatment of employees.
Mr.Tomislav Đorđević is for me a man who is ahead of his time with a clear vision for a “better tomorrow”, and I never regretted the fact that I was part of the team led by Mr. Tomislav Đorđević.
