Franz Kafka, “The Trial”
Tomislav Đorđević started at Iskra Delta in 1982 and quickly proved extraordinary organizational capabilities, by setting up Iskra Delta – Novi Sad in a very short time.
He hired very capable associates and set up all operations needed for good customer support for Delta’s computers in Vojvodina. He was a remarkable visionary and came to the idea, set up and developed Iskra Delta’s IT applications for the agricultural and food processing sectors. These IT solutions were selling in Yugoslavia and abroad.
Due to his good results I proposed him as the head of Iskra Delta sales to COMECON countries (Central and Eastern Europe), where his great effort and knowledge quickly produced very good results.
He also achieved momentous success with the organization and implementation of the IT system for winter Universiade in Czechoslovakia, built on Iskra Delta’s computer network platform, done for the first time in the world.
Great business results in the Soviet Union led to the visit of the President of Soviet Union to Yugoslavia, and a special visits to Iskra Delta where we demonstrated the latest Iskra Delta products to the Soviet delegation headed by Mikhail Gorbachev. Based on this visit, the Soviet Union proposed and set up a mixed Soviet-Yugoslav company TEDE based in Moscow.
After the destruction of Iskra Delta by the US agents, Mr. Đorđević independently continued his activities in Russia with much success.
With his positive energy and cheerful disposition he won me and the hearts of most of Delta’s force so that even now, he holds the position of the vice president of the Iskra Delta club where we continue the Iskra Delta tradition.
